This world is full of covered up evils. The child that gets abused and beaten every night. The woman who is raped by her husband but is too scared to tell or get away because he threatens her life. The man who was molested by his step father and is too ashamed to admit what has been done to him. The girl who cries herself to sleep at night because she just wants to feel loved. The boy who screams for his fathers attention, but hears nothing in return because he isnt like the other boys. Stereotypes and cliches. Labels and social pressures. Before you say you need to eat better, you look too thin. Or I cant wait for you to meet the woman of your dreams! or why dont you give that boy a chance? or man, that test just raped me. or those shoes are just gay looking on you. or that top makes you look a little too thick; maybe you should think about that fact that not EVERYONE in this world feels like you do. Not everyone is able to live a luxiorious life without emotional struggles or self confidence issues. Not everyone is as happy as they may appear to be. Watch your wording. Life is not easy. It is hard. It is full of sadness and disappointment. We fight every moment to find the good, the positive, and the love that is beyond the mountains of despair and heartache. It is a rough road, and a long battle. Lets make it a little easier for one another, and take a step out of our own little bubble of life. We need to help each other. We cannot make it alone. God doesnt expect nor want us to. Check up on those that you love, and even those that you arent even close to! Selfishness gets us no where but alone. Selfless actions are what bring us closer together. Kindess makes the world go around. Speak softly. Take a stand when need be, and love with your entire heart. You may need someone to do the same back for you some day.
