This would be the ONLY single policy where I am in agreement with Gov. Cuomo. (Not a FAN)... Not surpising that Mayor DeBlasio opposses education reform, he is a class A ass-hole!! I am an advocate of Charter schools & this alternative should be supported, where available to students. As well, tax credits should be given for scholarship funds & donations to public, private & charter schools. I Do NOT agree that teachers performance should be Strictly tied to test performance, however. As much of the teachers effectiveness is determined by his/her audience, so to speak.. The best teacher can motivate his/her students, but the students foundation outside the academic arena has much to do with their willingness to participate in their own success & application of the knowledge....
