This year, 2015, I am celebrating a Tango anniversary...It will be my 10th year since I stepped for the first time on a tango floor, at Miami Circle 721, Atlanta...In Jeans! Never, ever Ill wear jeans after this moment at a formal milonga, in respect to tango...I want to thank my very first teachers, Ronda and Manuel Patino, for teaching me first how to walk tango...And all the other teachers after them who thought me everything they knew about tango! For the past 10 years Ive completely changed my wardrobe (tango), invested hundreds of dollars in tango shoes, and collected over 30 GB of tango music..I pissed off friends, family members and relatives with my tango obsession.... Tango changed my life, for good. And it literally saved it, many times. I made friends for life, on both sides of the ocean, and in any country Ive danced. I had my 9 minutes of love many times on the dance floor and off it, and my hours of cry.... I want to thank all my tango partners, anywhere in the world, who dared to dance with me, it meant a lot! I enjoyed it as much as you did, know that whatever you felt, I felt the same... (thats the tango magic, right)! I also want to thank those, who did not danced with me, to whatever reason, it meant a lot as well!
