This year British Columbia was blessed with a gigantic salmon run, thousands that would normally go to Washington State rivers and streams came up around the north end of Vancouver Island and to BC rivers instead. How many of them went to the Imperial Mines, Mt Pooley, Hazeltine Creek and Quesnel Lake area, how many eggs will not hatch, grow into smolts that would return to the ocean 2 years hence, and return to us 4 years later to start their cycle again? How much sickness will we see unfold?
