This year, I lost my dad. One of the greatest men I have ever known. Either I can get depressed and not decorate for Christmas or I can live, love and have one of the greatest Christmases ever. Today, if you choose not to decorate, celebrate or really not get in the mood, I want to challenge you to not be selfish and sulk when there are people out there who have nothing and suffered things far worse than you. People need you to choose joy today! You create your own joy, happiness and fulfillment. God has already given ALL things that pertain to life and godliness so snap out of it and start decorating. This is one of the greatest times of the year. A King and Savior is born! Misery and sorrow doesnt just happen. WE choose for it to get inside of us and affect us. Choose life and love today! Put up that Christmas tree and pull out those decorations because a King, Friend and Lord was born. Thats reason enough to celebrate!
