This year I will be participating in my FIRST Polar Plunge for Special Olympics !!! I’m getting my feet wet on Saturday, January 25th at the 18th Annual Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge and I need you there with me. Grab your swimsuit, pack a towel and let’s head to the beach! I will be plunging in honor of my Son Carsen who has Down syndrome, who most of you know or have at the very least seen pictures of him. Most of us have participated in some kind of fundraising event. You may have gone for a run, a walk or even jumped on a bike. But no event compares to the Plunge! Rushing head first into the Chesapeake Bay at the end of January is a rush of cold excitement. If you cant be there with me enjoying the frostbite, you can show your support by donating whatever you feel comfortable donating. There is no amount too small!
