This year, MHS has been trying out a fun and helpful new change to their lunch schedule—it is called Buff Power hour, a time in the middle of the school day where students get 30 minutes to eat their lunches, and then another 30 minutes to do an on-campus activity of their choosing. The program was created to give students more time to study, get homework help, and take part in extra-curricular clubs and activities. During Buff Power Hour, teachers open their classrooms for students to drop by and get extra help on lessons, or make up missed assignments.
