This year has went by really, really fast, but my oh my if it hasnt been full of great stuff! Along with making a huge change and joining West Logan COG, Ive also expanded my circle of writers and speakers I listen to/read after. I have gained a deep respect for other streams of Christianity other than my own, because there is much we can all learn from one another. Below Ive listed some books that have helped me along the way, along with expanding my view of my favorite book, the bible. A Farewell to Mars - by Brian Zahnd (My favorite book, hands down) The Divine Conspiracy - by Dallas Willard The Bible Tells Me So - by Peter Enns (Just read it last week.. amazing) The Writings of Saint Francis of Assisi (His writings are like a breath of fresh air) The Book of Common Prayer (A book of compiled prayers and such by the Anglican Church) Her Gates Will Never Be Shut - Brad Jersak Surprised by Hope - N. T. Wright The Pursuit of God - A.W. Tozer Jesus Is - Judah Smith Mere Christianity - by C. S. Lewis
