This year is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Cajun culture. It was in February 1765, that Joseph Beausoleil Broussard arrived in New Orleans with a boatload of 205 Acadians who settled in the Attakapas Territory. - To launch festvities, on Saturday afternoon, February 21, the Acadian Museum will put on a production at the Old US Mint commemorating the arrival of these Acadians. - This is the great poster for the 250th anniversary, by Andy Perrin!
