This year my birthday has consisted of sleeping in (to the sounds of young children playing loudly and happily) at my brothers house; putting together the base of a lego treehouse with my niece; talking pirate with my nephew; watching the Lego Movie (which is hilarious); attending my nephews Star Wars themed 5th birthday party, during which he received JUST WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED!!!!!!! ......repeatedly. Like, EVERYTHING he got was, JUST WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED!!!!; watching Alex crack up delightedly every time Aaron got JUST WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED!!!!; feeling delighted with how much I love my family; and staring out into the cold, rain soaked woods in the back yard, being glad there was a fire inside.....Oh, and the beer and gluten free pizza was excellent too. Who needs a grown up birthday when you can have a 5 year old birthday? Thank you all my FB friends for your good wishes! Its been a lovely day!
