This year we are having a bit of a sad and pathetic Christmas :( My kids do not care how many gifts they get... it definitely bothers me more than them. My son asked for exactly 1 thing he wanted and only about 4 little things that he wants. I was lucky enough to be able to buy those things but my tree looks absolutely pathetic. I usually go all out but its not in the cards this year. My husband and I decided not to get each other anything either and that is hard. He really needs a specific jacket for work and I reallllllly wanted to get it for him :( Between moving in a few weeks and a new baby on the way, we are celebrating the holidays like its 1899 lol. What is the one thing that your child asked for this year that you absolutely could not say no to??? For my 7 year old it was a bike and for my 2 year old it was a rocking horse. My husband wanted a Duluth Trading Co. Fire Hose winter jacket to wear in the shop for work, some new steel toe boots and a jig saw (my husband is very practical) and all I wanted was a new set of sheets for our bed. :.Trina.:
