This year we plan to do more posts to take you Behind the Scenes at NHS and this is our first one! Velvet has been at NHS since September and our Behavior Department has spent a lot of time working with Velvet to help build her confidence and greeting people politely. Here’s what Christina, one of our Behavior Specialist, has to say about Velvet! “Velvet was been looking for a home since September. She is the most ball driven dog I have ever met. There has to be an agility or fly ball home out there looking for a dog like her! In this video she had to... 1) Drop the ball in the bucket 2) Sit in the hoop 3) Walk thru the vertical hoop 4) Put her feet on the bucket and 5) Go through the tunnel to have the ball thrown!!! Today was the first time she was introduced to the tunnel. Please share with any agility or fly ball dog people you know.
