This years 41st Annual Poetry Project New Years Day Marathon Reading was over the top in poets, performance and the audience that showed up! Except for the balcony, it was standing room only. I got there late afternoon so I missed a a couple hours and left around 11PM so I missed a few hours on the other end as well. (It runs from 2PM - 1AM) Pictured below is a bit of the brilliance I did get to see. Thank you to The Poetry Project for continuing to present this amazing event and all the delightful hard working volunteers that make it happen. The food staff was incredible! And thanks to Thelma Blitz who recorded most of it and Maurice Narcis for recording a few choice pieces which I will also share later.
