This years Mar Vista Fall Festival was a special thrill. Not only was the event a great neighborhood affair, but the Mar Vista Community Council and Festival Planning Committee named Len Nguyen as this years honoree, acknowledging him as someone whose energy, passion, and selfless dedication to making things happen in Mar Vista, has long been valued by all in our community. Len is my field deputy for Mar Vista and served in that capacity for 8 years for Bill Rosendahl (who was also on hand to celebrate Len). The festival was also a great chance to hold open office hours with the neighborhood.
