Thomas Edward Grady, October 1, 1959- August 18, 2014 Monday, August 18: Tom has gone home. In the silence of the hour and the softness of the moment we heard God whisper, Tom, I have come to take you home. There was the sound of angel wings and the sweet perfume of Gods presence. With the gentleness of His embrace, He had come to claim His own. I and our children kissed his face and held him close. We held his hands and wished him peace. I kissed him one last time and said, I love you. We will meet again where we shall live for eternity. John embraced him with his love until the very end. Rachel whispered, I love you DaddyO. We are all here with you, dont be afraid. Tremendous love was showered on him, so powerful, so beautiful, amid the heartbreaking sadness of our tears. I could hear Tom say, my love will be with you for ever. I will wait for you now in heaven. At that moment when he breathed his last, and his gentle heart beat no more, he took with him our love. What a precious gift he had to take with him, when at last our Blessed Lord he would meet. God welcomed him with open arms. Gods will was prayed for, and gods will was done. Tom heard the call of Jesus and gently he obeyed. Tom has gone home to heaven, but in our hearts he will always live. Rest in peace my gentle husband.............
