Thomas Sankara is the greatest post independence leader produced by Africa. He was killed in a western sponsored coup by his friend Blaise Campaore who actually planned the coup that installed Sankara. Among the assets left by Sankara include one Tokunbo car, guitar, power bike etc. Basically, assets that are worth nothing. Sankara has since been a source of inspiration to revolutionaries, freedom fighters, radicals, activists etc around the world. Amazingly Sankaras story is similar to a Nigerian, the peoples general AKA Mai Gaskiya. GMB was installed by others who planned the coup. He was eventually overthrown by one of them. His assets can be described as ridiculous in a corrupt nation like Nigeria especially after been a governor, minister of petroleum, HOS and PTF chairman. Unconfirmed rumuors also suggests the coup that overthrew him was western inspired. Sankara was killed in a bloody coup in 1987, today Bukinabes are fighting for change and its been bloody. At least 5 people killed. Buhari was overthrown in a bloodless coup in 1985 and today leads a bloodless and democratic quest for change in Nigeria. God help the Bukinabes and Nigerians as we push for positive change
