Thorn forest of Kutch are beautiful habitats of wildlife. The people of Kutch have been living in close harmony of the forest, raising their cattle, leaving a healthy life. The diversity of flora and fauna is very rich. It is high time the local population should decide, understand and manage the age old traditions. The big decisions about handing over the areas should not be taken with out the concern of people who have been living and managing it for generations. Many time city or mega-city based fancy ecologist getting down from expensive cars who do not know abcd of the place becomes the Bhagya Vidhata decision makers by their one or two pick-nick visits. We have lost a lot of precious biodiversity and will continue to do so if it is not stopped. After all it is our country and we all love and respect it,
