Thorughout the summer my girls have been asked every week to think about 1word (I called it the word of the week) and then talk to the group about what that particular word meant to them the following week. I gave them one word a week for the past several weeks. They had very creative responsives. The first week the word of the week was: BELIEVE...from there I started week #2 with the words belows. Today they learned that I had been having them spell out Champions.... They had NO clue until today. C-confidence H-heart A-attitude M-motivation P-passion I-initiative O-ownership N-niceness S-success Today in our off ice talk...it came full circle! CHAMPIONS BELIEVE!!!! We had lots of fun with this and of course my hope is that they will believe because each one of them is totally awesome in their own special way! I am so fortunate to train these skaters! The best of luck to my girls at Upper Great Lakes Championships!
