Those of us who remember the first National Book Festival in 2001 - TopicsExpress

Those of us who remember the first National Book Festival in 2001 know it actually took place INSIDE the Library of Congress (though some popular authors drew such crowds, their booksignings had to be moved outside!). After over ten years of increasing attendance inside tents on the National Mall, this year the festival moves back indoors to the cavernous DC Convention Center (with lots of nearby PARKING!). Next Saturday from 10AM to 10PM, book lovers will have a chance to meet many of their favorite authors and illustrators, with book sales provided by the award-winning Politics & Prose Bookstore. I hope to see you there! loc.gov/bookfest/information/
