Those of you who are computer geeks, I have a question. Before we went overseas, I bought an external hard drive.. I had put everything of importance in genealogy on that thing. My question is.. I have forgotten exactly what I do have on it, and know I have put considerable more on the genealogy with that software here on my desktop since we returned.. I have concerns about hooking up that hard drive to see what allis on it, I has to use the software program to open, but will it change my materials and records I have on the computer, or wil it just open it and let me see what is there. ?
