Those of you who are parents know that at some point your kid(s) are going to call you out on your proverbial parenting roles. Those of you who know my son Chase Colucci know that he is an expert at this. So, last night, finally, after weeks of coaching him about putting his dirty dishes into the dishwasher instead of setting them on the counter next to it (ugh)... he actually started loading it without being asked!! Being the good parent, I made sure to acknowledge & thank him. Chase replied well, I wanted to be sure and reward you both for giving me extra computer time & letting me eat junk food tonite. Argh!! He used positive reinforcement on me!!!
