Those of you who have been part of the studio for a bit have heard my history speech more then once. For a 100+ year old building she has some great stories to tell. Of particular note are the several thousand dimples in the floor created by the corked boots of loggers over several generations of shopping in the hardware store that occupied the main floor. Its fun to direct folks attention to those many dimples, and remind them they are walking on history. Alas, I have a confession. I have spent the last several days cleaning the clay dust out of those thousands of pits from hell so that I could seal them. The goal is to make it easier to clean, but Im paying the price now, in advance. In the future, while hearing the history speech, if you hear an explicative muttered under my breath feel free to smile, nod your head in understanding, and keep it to yourself. ~Dave~
