Those of you who know me are aware that I have an extensive trauma history. And those who heard me speak last week at Beaverton Foursquare now know a few details of that story. So to be at this place in my life right now where God is opening doors to impact dads and daughters alike (including grown up daughters as well as younger ones) has me not only humbled but also leads me to say to anyone who is in a dark and hopeless place that its worth it to trust that God really does keep His promise to restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Even when it seems like Hes taking WAY TOO LONG to get to the good part of your story, trust that He will use all of it (yes, ALL of it) for His glory. I dont know how He does it but He does. Heres to trusting God through it all.
