Those who are seeking the face of Christ in the moral code are looking for the Spirit to enter in to that and perfect the flesh in the likeness of Christ. But the Spirit of God is pure and holy, and will never enter into the moral code of man, for that is NOT the righteousness of God and is contrary to the new covenant law of Christ (Jn 1:17), which is grace and truth, the fulness of Christ. But when grace and truth are labored with, the Spirit will enter into that and empower faith to bring forth the fruit that reflects Christ perfectly and the purging of the conscience before God, which the moral code can never do.
