Those who have been condemning Modi for Togadias comment should - TopicsExpress

Those who have been condemning Modi for Togadias comment should not conveniently overlook the story of 2008. In 2008, Modi got some 419 temples (yes, temples) demolished in Gujarat because they illegally encroached on public roads. This then, marked a new low in the BJP-VHP ties. Since then, Togadia has been a huge critic of Modi for obvious reasons. The hatred was last manifested in October last year, when Togadia slammed Modi for his comment, Pehle shauchalaya, phir devalaya (toilet first, temple later). This then clearly gives us good reasons to believe two things. Firstly, Modi is at least more for development than anything else. ( Atif) Secondly, since over the years, there has been enough evidence that Togadia probably hates Modi more than he hates Muslims, for all we know, his last statement is in furtherance of his hatred against the former and not the latter to sabotage the formers campaign. This is in addition to the RSS and the BJP completely disowning his comments. And when you allow the leeway of personal opinions being different from party ideologies to the AAP in relation to Prashant Bhushans comment, who is a core member of the AAP, how can you even think of not granting the same to BJP for Togadias comment who is not even a part of the BJP?
