Those who identify themselves as conservative tend to vote out of emotion rather than reason or rationale. Last time the Red Wave occurred only TWO states were left blue, and that was 1972 when Nixon won. Two years later he resigned in disgrace. People were duped, just like Tuesday night. They doent like Obama but sure do LOVE his LIBERAL policies as : Five states voted to raise minimum wage. EVERY pro-life personhood bill was struck down. Fracking was voted down in three states INCLUDING Texas. Marijuana was legalized in three states (and already a Republican is vowing to overturn it because freedom...or was it small government?) YET conservatives in Arkansas voted FOR prohibition; thats probably good that they dont drink anyways. Massachusetts companies now must give employees one week sick leave. Washington approved background checks for guns. Illinois voted to include contraception in health coverage. Hawaii voted against public funds for private schools (they already voted to increase minimum wage to 10.10) I know Im forgetting some, but yes - hypocrites voted en masse Tuesday. But I still stand with Obama and I dont regret my vote.
