Those who know......SubhanAllah - Hope Restored!! MashaAllah this is by far one of the most amazing things I have ever witnessed in my 20+ years of working in community. I arrived at the office early Monday morning, while checking the ICNA Relief MA mail I noticed 3 envelopes, each from MCI Framingham. I immediately knew these envelopes were from a Women’s Prison but couldnt figure out who would be writing ICNA Relief MA, let alone 3 separate prisoners. When I opened the envelopes there was a check in each; with a memo stating charity. These women, these 3 prisoners, who have very little of their own, each gave to ICNA Relief from what they have MashaAllah. Imagine; you are in prison, you receive pennies a day for the work that you do yet you still seek the blessings of Allah during the month of Ramadan by giving to others SubhanAllah. This shows the true beauty of Islam; these women who may have come to Islam in prison are seeking Allah’s blessing by caring for others. May Allah reward them and provide them with peace of mind – Ameen.
