Those who seek to worship and serve God must pursue a righteous life. Clean hands are hands free from external acts of sin. A pure heart refers to our inner motives, with a primary goal of inward holiness. Clean hands are the outward expression of a pure heart because godly behavior flows from a pure heart. What we must realize is that both God and the world are trying to win our hearts. But we must always remain true to God and his Word. Because His grace far exceeds our sin. This morning allow the Holy Spirit to keep our hearts pure and our minds fixed on Jesus, so that he will pour out His grace on those who turn away from pleasure-seeking to kingdom-seeking. Our belief in Jesus Christ should result in a tangible response. Overcoming our sinful nature and being led by the Spirit requires discipline of our heart, mind and body. We must be careful to remember that our standard of holiness is to please God and not man. GM. Lots of Love
