Those who walk in spirit and truth see all the more, the wickedness and deception of the flesh and with fear and trembling seek earnestly the salvation of the Lord. Indeed do these agree with Paul, that in my flesh is no good thing, and seeking most earnestly for the abiding Christ as his covering! Yes, the spiritual man sees the wretched flesh and is unable to make light of it. It is much like the murderer who by law was tied hand to hand and foot to foot with the corpse of whom he killed. He bears constant reminder of the stench of death while bearing the burden of its weight. Yes indeed, do the righteous carry an abiding joy and peace and yet also, bearing the burden of the cross which effects the death of flesh. Always carrying about the dying of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may be made manifest! Praise the Lord for things which are higher than the thoughts of all men in the gospel of Christ Jesus!
