Though George Friedman is an Independent International Affairs analyst, and therefore much of what he says has a ring of objectivity, I believe that this present article goes with the stream of Washington-dictated thick-and-fast media vilification of Putin and certainly follows in its basic line the official narrative that Putin (synecdoche for the Russian Military supreme command) placed at the disposal of the Donbass rebels and either trained them, or even unofficially manned, high-tech weaponry (not obviously the latest technology, such as the US posseses in abundance...). All this is actually very, very unlikely, as george Friedman must know. He must be awre surely of the other version, the true one (YESSSSS!) that Washington instigated this whole macabre episode, uisbng either a Ukrainian (official Kiev) proxy, or even ... DIRECTLY (!!!), to inculpate the Donbass rebels, and have almost a casus belli for an all out attack on Putin. What is really sickening is the Anglo-British hypocrisy, again , and again, and again ... Their raison detre on the international scene is to act as drummer boys for the Americans, who will tell whatever lies come into their heads, while the Anglo-British will supply the chorus Yes, they did! Yes, they did! Yes, they did!. How they want to be rid of Vladimir Putin! They will baulk at nothing ....!
