Though I did not deserve it the Lord had put His hand over and under my body and saved me from being maimed or killed. Soon after I gave my soul to the Lord in baptism at seven I fell through the plate-glass decorative window that was next to my homes front door. It was the size and shape of the door itself and double thick. I remember lying on my back across the threshold frame looking up as hundreds of dagger like glass shards rained down on me. I remember many pieces falling towards my face. But it was strange that they seem to part and fall around me rather then pierce me as if an invisible shield lay over me. It happened very quickly but like in slow motion. When all had settled I rolled off the broken window frame and stood up. There was glass everywhere, some pieces as big as plates. The bottom of the frame where I had lay was jagged with knife like glass protrusions. My mother checked me over and there was not a scratch on me. Though I did not deserve it the Lord had put His hand over and under my body and saved me from being maimed or killed.
