Though a manager is intended to be the leader, it does not - TopicsExpress

Though a manager is intended to be the leader, it does not necessarily mean that the manager will be the one to carry all of the strengths the organization may need. He explains, “The most important thing is to hire people who complement you and are better than you in specific areas. Good people hire people that are better than themselves.” (Bauer & Erdogan, 2010). He further conveys that the role of a leader is to actively create more leaders, not just individuals that follow blindly and don’t learn to govern and organize themselves effectively. Therefore one can surmise that a leader is more concerned with what they can give an organization and that their input while provide value and strength to the organization, as opposed to only what credentials, credit, and personal gain they can acquire from that organization. ***Just turned in my Final Paper for my Business Management Class. This was one of my intro paragraphs. Some of the most amazing concepts and realizations were gained during this class, applicable to all areas of my life! I want to be like a sponge as God continues to bring knowledge and groom and mold me for leadership from so many different outlets in my life! How exciting! :D Its all about selflessness, about leading others to become leaders themselves! Such astonishing knowledge!
