Though it meant a lot of burnt feet on a black dance floor (wink, wink) The Philippine Independence Day Picnic & Sports Fest was a nice way to end our 5th YO-YO, Inc. Season. HULALA and SHOWPOW had done a remarkable and excellent job! Learning SUBLI, MAGLALATIK, and the tiered BANGKO in 4 practices is remarkable for our unofficial division, PINOYd Much kudos goes out to a hard working membership this season with the most wonderful parents and guardians! Auntie Claire & Uncle Marco, Uncle Russ & Auntie Tess, Uncle Bobby & Auntie Arlene, Auntie Jen & Uncle Jerry, Auntie Yvonne, Uncle Nido, Auntie Liberty, Auntie Michel, Auntie Clarissa & Uncle Jon, Auntie Virginia & Uncle Dave, Uncle Regie, Uncle Abe & Auntie Kris, Auntie Liza & Uncle Earl, Uncle Rick & Auntie Lisa, Auntie Grace & Uncle Art, Auntie Maria & Uncle Nelson Auntie Perla and a special thumbs up goes out to Uncle Larry who sacrificed his own thumb to deliver 2 new Bangkos for our new BANGKO Dance! We love you Uncle Larry! Due to todays recruitment booth, we signed up over 10 families! YAY! Lets hope we can get more for 2014/2015 season. We have been through a lot of changes and we will continue to do do for the better. Have a great and wonderful summer break, May God Bless you with much peace and serenity and I hope to see you all for the first HULALA lesson/rehearsal on Friday, September 5th at 7pm at the Mrs Philippines Home for Senior Citizens!
