Though our country is facing crisis of leadership and accountability in almost every field of life. Today we are predominantly facing darker side of those elements of life (From economic richness to science & technological advancements ) which differentiate the human beings from other animals and are the tools to make the life more happy and meaning full. The professionals are supposed to be the guides of corresponding fields of life and people learn discipline in particular aspect from these people. Being an intellectual we owe more responsibility towards the nation & society. This social angle differentiate the professions from business. I personally feel that a combined voice of different professionals( Doctors,Educationalist, Chartered accountants, Architects & Engineers ,Advocates, Industrialist ,and social workers ) will make a change in the present desponding situation by encountering the Govt. officials , politicians and other stake holders to make them accountable for the well being of the citizen. The behaviour/attitudes of general public will automatically change in the proportion of enforcement of law. They (Officials & Politicians) always blame for most of the things that public is responsible for indiscipline in every field of life. I believe that general public was never disciplined throughout the past whenever the governance was poor. These are the self disciplined leaders of different segments who make the public responsible by enforcing the norms /law. So I am very sure that only enforcement of law will streamline the life of a common citizen which is the root cause of all evils of the day. Hence I suggest to all sensible professionals to come forward to form a common platform of all the devoted professionals of the cities to introduce a system of public participation in the governance of the city/state/centre through their forum. The name of the forum may be " Professionals forum of Agra/Allahabad/ Bhopal/ Mumbai etc.". I appeal to only those professionals who are able to see the interest of the society/ nation also besides their own interest and have the courage to face some inconveniences. We have to sacrifice a partial time of a TV serial or cricket match for such causes and the face of the city will start to change. So let us start joining hands for single point agenda of good governance to make our city better through this forum by inviting all stake holders in the meetings and question them for their deeds. Care should be taken in formation of the forum that total strength should not be more than 50 very very selective and competent members of similar mind set other wise they will nullify the energy of each other.
