Though we have been able to get in touch with everyone that registered, I regret to inform you that we will be postponing our Financial Literacy Event due to a safety concern. As many of you know, though this event was scheduled to be open to the public, several of the attendees that signed up were clients that had been deemed by referring agencies as safe to be in a public setting. We received word today from one of the families that had registered that there was a safety concern. Though the concern does not extend to anyone other than a child that had registered for the program, we place the safety of ALL that we work with ahead of everything else. Every child that we work with is vital to each programs success. If at any point we feel that a child may be in danger, we feel it is our responsibility to ensure that EVERYONE is safe. We thank the families that we contacted yesterday and today for their understanding and support. We will contact each of the families individually regarding the new program date which will be held at a private and secure location. We thank you for your understanding and hope that you agree that every childs safety should be of great importance to all.
