Though we love to share good news unfortunately we seem to have a trend of heartbreaking situations going on… Our most recent little heartbreaker is Aurora, she was found on the side of the road by a kind young lady and taken to another vet clinic where she was examined and advised there was nothing they could do to help. The young lady called Parkview and said she found a dog with what she thought was two broken legs and could we please help. Aurora was brought in to the clinic and examined by Dr. Joemel. On examination it was found that sweet little Aurora has a broken spine and does not have a lot of feeling in the rear part of her body, chances of paralysis are high. Despite this grim diagnosis 2nd Chance Rescue - Qatar again did not hesitate to welcome her as part of their furry family. It was decided that she will rest comfortably for a week in hopes of getting some of the sensation back, if it is found that she has some feeling back Dr. Joemel will again attempt to one of his miracles and perform surgery. If it is found that the feeling does not return, little Aurora will be fitted for a wheelchair. To some this may seem to be an impossible situation, to the family of Parkview Pet Center - Qatar and 2nd Chance every animal deserves a fair chance to be loved and looked after. No matter the outcome of Aurora’s medical situation, she WILL get the love and care she so desperately deserves.
