Thought: I have found from personal experience that the law enforcement officers that use excessive force are generally scared of the area where they work. Theyre not cowboys, theyre not technically and tactically proficient...theyre petrified. They choke, they shoot, they abuse because the dont understand or care about where they work or who they work for. Every Agent/Officer Ive worked with that is great at what they do, has a solid reputation in the street and generally gets compliance with a bit of humane treatment and some good officer presence. 99% of the time being professional gets the job done, but we train extensively for the 1%, weve got to get control of this nonsense. If you are scared of the job, find another one.
