Thought I would post Dave Campbells article regarding the game tonite for those of you that havent seen it yet: Class 3A Teague (7-0) at Malakoff (7-0) This game may never end. Both teams are sure to light up the scoreboard and keep reporters in the press box way past deadline. But there should be no complaining because this has the makings of a classic. Let’s start off with Teague: the Lions are averaging 60.4 points— yes, really — and 583 total yards per game. Teague is more balanced than you think, but it loves to throw the ball down the field with quarterback Austin Skinner. Keep an eye on running back Jon Love, though. He could be a key difference maker. Malakoff does its damage on offense a little differently. The Tigers, who average about 49 points per contest, keep the ball on the ground for most of the game with stud running back Marcus Dowell. If Malakoff can control the clock and make some key plays on defense, the Tigers should come away with a victory in perhaps the biggest small-school game in the state.
