Thought I would post a PSA. My little guy got neutered last Wed, and managed to remove his cone, and unbeknownst to me managed to eat the entire length of gauze that held the cone on him. Today he had a super expensive life saving surgery, and thankfully he should be ok. I cant even put into words how much of an ordeal this has been for my emotions and finances ($30 neuter into thousands). So please, if you need a cone for your cat and have a collar, thread that through it, and throw away the gauze. You may just save your cat. Also? Consider pet insurance. Sure wish wed had it. Side note: The CR vet clinic has been amazing and is taking such good care of my little guy, and has put up with my emotional craziness to boot. :)
