Thought Id take a chance to say hi and thank you for adding me. Ive kind of been lurking for the past couple of days to get a feel for the group...and have been finding the posts really interesting, with lots of pics of beautiful machines. I am in Wisconsin. I started adopting VSMs a few years back when my husband bought me a Viking 980. After a while I wanted to add another machine (mainly because I keep living in fear of the 980s motherboard crashing). I managed to win a local Necchi Supernova Automatica on eBay for under $30. That started my love affair with Necchis (I have 4 of them now). I also have a couple of Pfaffs (a 130 my husband has been restoring as a birthday present, and a 230 which will need a major restore job sometime in the future). Then today we picked up a Necchi BU with cabinet which will be another candidate for refurb someday. I figure I better slow down beyond that so my poor husband gets a break! Its been great finding this group...and I look forward to hearing more of your stories and seeing more lovely machines.
