Thought for Today: -- What God Said – Sunday, 7th December 2014... REPENTANCE! What is it? What does God say about it? Why? 2Co 7:10 For godly grief and the pain GOD IS PERMITTED TO DIRECT, produce a REPENTANCE that leads and contributes to salvation and deliverance from evil, and it never brings regret; but worldly grief (the hopeless sorrow that is characteristic of the pagan world) is deadly [breeding and ending in death]. (Amp). As a watchman of The Word…YOUR BLOOD will not be found on my hands. God gave me a mandate – to rightly divide HIS WORD of TRUTH! And to tell it to YOU! And that is exactly what I have done. You will NOT be able to stand before a Holy God and plead your “innocence”. It will not “wash”… with HIM. And as I have shared with you many times before; but -- I will remind you ONE MORE TIME – just perchance you may have NOT yet realized – “life is NOT about you” -- It is about HIM. Amen! It is about --“what HE wants”. It is about --“when HE wants it”. And regardless of all the ‘hype’ you hear on a daily basis – God is STILL in CONTROL – and HE is about to show up, and remind us all, that HE KEEPS HIS WORD! Amen! If you have NEVER yet gotten hold of the importance of that possibility…take a few minutes out of your busy schedule – to contemplate its meaning – and the consequential significance it may have, on YOUR FUTURE! Your ETERNAL future -- looms large, and NEAR! So – it begs the QUESTION? What would YOU DO – IF JESUS CAME -- to spend some time with YOU? He is COMING – Ready or NOT! If – perchance you are NOT ready, and you need to REPENT; if you do NOT – KNOW that you KNOW; that YOUR NAME is written - in the Lamb’s Book of Life (whether you have at some point prayed for forgiveness and Salvation, or NOT) – NOW is YOUR opportunity to GET yourself RIGHT with GOD! If you do NOT have the assurance you need -- to KNOW that you KNOW -- then your REPENTANCE was not complete; and still is NOT complete. ‘YOU’ -- have gotten in the way of -- YOUR FULL PARDON, and what that means for your life; YOUR ETERNAL LIFE! Your being SORRY before God -- needs to have been, and continue to be -- a HEART experience; not a head experience; and certainly NOT a LIP experience. He is NO MORE interested in your LIP SERVICE, than He is in ‘flying to the moon’ -- so-to-speak. God LOVES you! And He REQUIRES a RELATIONSHIP with you. He is NOT interested in your RELIGIOUS piety. He wants to share what LOVERS share – INTIMACY; Spirit to spirit -- with you! That requires a RESPONSE from YOU – and preferably one that is REAL, and GENUINE, and TRUSTING, and OBEDIENT! LOVE – is NOT a FEELING. LOVE – is an ACTION – a doing word – that requires a RESPONSE. A real, genuine, trusting and LOVING response! So, what will YOU tell Him, TODAY; in preparation for your -- TOMORROW? For THOSE of you, who may READ THESE POSTS, and then go on to IGNORE them -- God says, “That is OK”. But – He also says to -- “REMIND YOU” – that He has promised to bring these things, back to YOUR REMEMBRANCE, on ‘THAT DAY’ -- With devastating consequences. What in HELL – do YOU want? If you CHOOSE to IGNORE this WARNING -- and the many, many others like it, that is -- OK! Your CHOICE! If you CONTINUE to SETTLE for the ‘watered down variety’; then continue on visiting your local churches, and your personal, private rituals. Most -- (generalised statement, because not ALL, are guilty), unfortunately, will aid your state of SPIRITUAL APATHY, right on into the tribulation; or even worse – into HELL itself! If INTIMACY and UNITY – in and of your relationship with the Holy Spirit, and your fellow brethren, is NOT the normal teaching or experience, you live - on a daily/weekly basis; from YOUR local pulpit, and congregation; then I suggest you go back to the drawing board; Back to BASICS with God; Back to a TRUE spirit of REPENTANCE; one that will give you the GUARANTEE that YOU require, to KNOW -- that you are READY, when He calls. And – it will be SOON! COMING – READY or NOT! SO! My Question remains -- What would YOU DO? …IF JESUS came; to spend some TIME with YOU? TODAY?
