Thought for the day: Yesterday, I railed against the racing/gambling industrys spectacle which was the culmination of two years of suffering by baby horses. And some of our FB friends felt I should have been less critical and more diplomatic in my comments. Fill my postings with facts and persuasive language in order to help folks that wear big hats, drink mint juleps, and wallow in the filth of the event change their minds. I admire them for that mind set. I really do. Me, Im much more cynical after all these years of seeing their behavior. Donna likes to say, Never try to teach a pig to sing. It frustrates you and irritates the pig. Yep, that says it for me. Jim
