Thought for today a bit late sorry; 1 Cor. 1:18 "For the message - TopicsExpress

Thought for today a bit late sorry; 1 Cor. 1:18 "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. " now shoot over to 2:9 "But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him..." I am still writing things out going to give you another snippet on How much God loves you and desire that you be blessed. We all know the story of Moses and how God took this young man and began to do some awesome thing to and through him. Moses is like alot of us, we know what scripture says and yet we tend to be like the song says "Man on the run...!!!" Moses was definitely not perfect by a long shot... and I believe he had a stubborn streak that ran through him, and that may have been from the arrogance of Egypt that ran through him.... He knew he was an Israelite, yet from being raised in Egypt some of the arrogance and just being spoiled had to have ran through him... Moses encounters God at the burning bush… Ex 3: 10Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt11And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. From the conception of Moses God had a plan to use him mightily. God knows what’s best for you. He knows where you are going and He has a plan to get you there. T.D. Jakes Yet we see God’s divine protection upon his life even as a baby to get him to this setting of scripture. We do not always have all the answers to why it had to happen this way, but, God knowing the beginning from the end knew best how to accomplish that which He was calling Moses too. “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him..." We have to rest in Him and come to grips with the fact that God is working our divine destiny out in places we cannot see. It takes Faith to accept the will of God for our lives. Yet, even walking in faith we still have things that we are going to have to encounter and go through and even face at times. I like this:Now just because we have favor with God does not mean we are going to escape going through our “go-throughs.” We’re not exempt from difficulty. He loves us, and He will walk us through it, but through it we all must go. T.D. Jakes We know that Moses had a temper and it caused him grief at times, does this sound familiar to you? Just because we are saved does not mean we are not going to struggle in this life. What I am hoping is that through this teaching is that you are finding that even though you face things in this life you are not a Victim, but rather that God has something being prepared for you, that though hereto you may have never stopped and thought about it, you will look at these scriptures and stories and know “YOU my friend are a VICTOR!!!” Even with all your warts, failures, short comings, faults the God of this Universe has something special for you to do and that He Loves you and is so willing to equip you for the thing that only you can do for it was designed for you to do…. We all feel insignificant at times just like Moses did and we fall short… Yet that does not STOP God from using our finite abilities… One thing Moses had to understand was that he was not the deliver and God was not asking him to be the deliverer of Isreal …just look at Exodus 3: 7And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, Man that you should lift the heavy burden off your shoulders and humble you at the same time, knowing that God is chosing to use you in spite of you… He is not looking for the elite, the popular, best educated, financially well off, He God is looking for a man that will believe that He desires to use them to do that which their eyes and ears cannot understand and to be used by Him to proclaim and show His love towards His people…. Moses came to a point where he looked at himself and began to question his ability and God already had a plan to show Moses that He was the deliverer and that though he did not see what God see, God deemed him worthy and qualified to be used by him. Turn with me to Exodus 4: 2And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. The Rod of humility will cause you and I to come to that place where we totally understand that God can take what we think is ordinary and do the extra ordinary with it… God simply asked Moses what is in your hand? A branch Father is all I have, a staff, a rod, God said “Yes Moses that is what you see…but that is not what I see… For I am the branch when cast upon the water that can make iron swim, for I am life to a lost people… Just like with Elijah God required them both to pick up that which He had performed the super natural in, it was a sign to both, it is I that has performed this thing…I AM, THAT I AM… When you come to the place where you cannot see My delivering POWER, just be still and I will show you that I am with you… Whether it is a lost axe head in deep water, or a serpent… You do not have to be afraid… If you will just Trust and do what I ask you to do, your finite senses will see my Glory and My delivering Power…Exodus4:3And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: 5That they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. You do not have to have complete understanding of how God is going to make it all work… You just have to believe that He has all things under control, and that you are His vessel that He has chosen… “ John 15: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. If that does not make you shout I don’t know what will… Every time I read that passage and my humanness comes through and I go but “Why God me?” He only speaks back because I love you with an everlasting love….. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” You and I probably would not have picked a lot of the men that God chose to use throughout the bible, yet, He chose them and empowered them to do great exploits for Him… So say to your inferiority be gone in the name of Jesus… 1 Cor. 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Your divine destiny is ordered by God and your strength comes not from you, but it comes from God… Speak God’s word to the enemy every time he opens his mouth and say surely God didn’t chose you, what do you have to offer God? Confidently speak His word back to the enemy, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus! For He is my strong tower… And what I have in my hands is enough for Him to use…no matter how insignificant you may think it is, you are not God and my Hope and Trust is in Him and not you… Then walk boldly in the Grace of God and watch where He leads you… I pray you are enjoying this series, Have a Great day!
