Thought id share my Glow plug relay move so more easily accessable ! step 1, remove the 4 bolts holding intercooler rad. move out to the side . step 2,disconnect battery/batteries. step 3, remove Glow plug relay, far r/h inner wheel arch top corner(not much room !) then disconnect 3 wires ! ( note i had already moved the relay to behind the batteries but there is not enough room at this position !) step 4, cut 1 to 2 inches away from round connectors,(or enough to re-join connectors to multi block ) there isnt much spare!! step 5, feed 3 core wire (i used house cable ) approx 4 ft, from glow plug relay wires ensure plenty of cable before cutting to lenght(cut ends) to near master cylinder, (make sure threaded at back behind any pipe work) step 6, make z shape hanger or similar with at least 3 holes drilled for attachment of Glow plug relay and mounting to bolt securing brake pipes on drivers side bulkhead, remove bolt retaining brake pipe holder slip behind new ( GLOW PLUG BRACKET) and tighten. step 7,need around 3 ft of 12 volt h/duty auto cable,(for extra bus bar feed if needed,) connect 1 end to 2nd glow plug nut( from bulkhead and feed through to new relay mounting site, make sure at back causing no obstructions and tie up.leave un-connected end with spare, tied up at top of bulkhead, insulate the end ( tape over, delis sometimes suffer from bus bar feed breakdown this will be a spare if you need to connect up in the future or have an extra feed to the bus bar!) step 8 ,connect black to black, white to red and green feed to earth( copper wire, add sheath to the bare wire leaving about 10mm bare,,then join each using a suitable multi block connector. on the drivers side(where glow plug relay is to be re-sited join saved round connectors using multiblocks, step 9 check connectors and tighten relay etc, step 10, batteries re connected, intercooler will be the last thing to re secure!, Thats it, I hope this is of use to some of you!. Now if you have got good joints, you can change the relay easily if it did fail again (No scraped hands and loads of room !!)
