Thought of the Day - Nov. 20, 2013 I Can Only Imagine! Almost everyday when I am out and about someone comes up to me to offer their condolences and say “I cant Imagine” as their eyes fill up with tears. My first instinct is to wipe away those tears as I dont want you to imagine. Please dont imagine as that is not very productive and paves the way for a sadder day. We often spend too much time worrying about things we cant control. If and when a situation occurs then that is when you deal with it, but why ruin the rest of the day, week, month, or year saturated with worry. Dont anticipate what might happen and never does. Generate pleasant thoughts as that not only creates a better day for yourself, but for others you surround. I do want you to think about this “I can only imagine”. Complete this sentence with a positive conclusion “I can only imagine...” Below are my complete sentences: “I can only imagine the world becoming a better place” “I can only imagine everyone performing a random act of kindness each and every day” “I can only imagine less greed and more giving” “I can only imagine eating a hot fudge sundae for breakfast” - This I can make a reality Each one of us has to power to assist in making these statements come true. If evil can spread rapidly why cant goodness spread throughout the community and then the world, even if it might take longer. Lets not give up hope. Michael believed in spreading the message of kindness unto others. Each one of us can continue showing others that this is possible. Michael was kind and inspirational, and encouraged his friends to go after their dreams as once “they could only imagine”, but now can make it a reality. So lets not imagine and go out and make your community and world a better place. Enjoy your day with positive thoughts and actions. Yes you can imagine a world filled with kindness. Blessings
