Thought of the Day: Christmas morning musing Its Christmas - TopicsExpress

Thought of the Day: Christmas morning musing Its Christmas morning and for some crazy reason I am beginning to cry. I am being overwhelmed with such a sense of joy, thankfulness and I want to shout I know him. I see myself transported to a top of a mountain and I am yelling I KNOW HIM. There is this echo that is so loud it almost knocks me over in fact it forces me to my knees, my head is buried in my hands and I am weeping. The echo is not my voice or my words but it’s the voice of our Lord and he is saying, “I KNOW YOU AND HE SAYS TELL EVERYONE HOW PROUD HE IS OF THEM! TELL THEM THAT I LOVE THEM AND SOON I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON THIS GENERATION.” I hear “THIS IS JUST A BEGINNING!” We have been crying out fill us with awe and majesty. Can this be the beginning of his answer. Last night we saw how even in the womb of Elizabeth that John leaped for joy and I said oh Lord cause us to leap for joy. I am still on the mountain an innumerable angels are flying through the sky and they are singing and rejoicing. I am wondering what are they singing about and then I hear “ they are singing over all of God’s children.” Such choruses of affection and this one angel singing louder than the others saying, “if you only knew how much you are loved - IF YOU ONLY KNEW HOW MUCH YOU WERE LOVED! There is another voice it’s the voice of our beloved and he is saying, “JUST SAY YES!” It was last night during service that we asked the question what if Mary said no; I don’t want to be pregnant? What if Joseph said no and he divorced Mary? I realize he is looking for people who will simply say yes. A simple yes could change a city. A simple yes could help spark a move of God that no preceding revival could be compared to. What if we became known as the “YES PEOPLE!” I see a potter molding clay and as he is molding the clay he is blowing on the clay and he is saying,“BE FILLED!” With a smile of the potter’s face he is saying, THIS IS WHERE YOU/WE HAVE BEEN.” We have been being molded and as Adam was molded and as God breathed into Adam so he is breathing into us. It’s a new breath. Oh tears of joy are beginning to fall from my cheeks. “just say,“YES!” Finally there are there three more yeses that I am reminded of. It’s the yes Jesus said to the Father when he was sent to earth. It was the yes to be beaten and scourged and it was his yes that he would be willing to be crucified for us. Three yeses that changed all of humanity and eternity. Just say, “YES!” MERRY CHRISTMAS!
