Thought of the Day: LET THE OLD DIE AND THE NEW COME FORTH!!! Colossians 3:8-10King James Version (KJV) 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Sometimes we are use to doing things our way...when we give our lives to Christ we must do things his way. It is a new walk that we must walk to see the glory. Stop focusing on what happened in the past...let it die because you can not move forward in Christ. Many times people are hurt and angry because things did not go your way. Give it to God and let him work it out because in the end your love and humbleness will carry you along way. Forgive your enemies and the ones that have hurt you...as God has commanded. If they repent...forgive them; as stated in Luke 17:4 (Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying I repent, you must forgive them.) Forgiveness is the key to becoming an over comer. Forgiveness frees you from the hurt of the past. It does not matter if you know they are wrong let God handle the situation. Hurt and anger can bound our spirit as well as your flesh. It can cause you to do and say things that are not of God. Sn: Let the enemy know that God lives in you and you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. Lean not to your own understanding. Follow God and let him direct your paths.
