Thought of the Day – Oct. 22, 2013 My thought of the day was inspired by the Monday morning news. Do you believe it, inspired by the news. Well, when I was in the other room I heard the song playing “Please dont go” and I turned around to look at the TV and there was the photo of the big yellow rubber duck. Yes, it was time for the duck to leave the city. This simple silly concept of a huge rubber duck has brought so much enjoyment. People came from all over to see this over-sized object float on the water. It was an uncomplicated idea that brought many smiles. Today the duck has now moved on and that simple message should stay. Go buy something fun and silly, place it somewhere that will bring a smile to you and others. I am going to look for my silly object, possibly at the thrift store. Maybe you have a goofy object stored away, bring it out of hiding. Tell your story about your silly showpiece.
