Thought of the day: Few things challenge a common persons worldview and standards, as being confronted with a situation or person that is so beyond their normal daily experience that they cant relate to it. Attempting to relate to such a foreign thing, while not dangerous in itself, is such a challenge to a persons own ego created self, that the self views it as almost a security threat. Instead of attempting to understand or empathize, the new concept is instead met with hostility and fear. Just because it is SO foreign. On a related note, I was on mushrooms when I first ever saw a car command start. And nearly shit myself.
