There are many ways available to start with right from fix deposite, recurring deposite , monthly income schemes etc. PPF is one of the best option amongst all, as it gives compound and tax free returns . Many people feels that insurance plans are the better option for savings and here we make a mistake as it wont give us good returns as compared to the other sources . It doesnt mean that we dont required it, health insurance and term insurance is required for safty and security of our family. We better shouldt look it as invesment but as a basic need. The simple theme for that is early we start less we pay more we benifited. Equity and mutual fund investmentment are subject to market risk. This line distract us from such kind of investments and thats why only 3% of population is invested in equity and 5% in mutual funds. This percentage is far lesser as compared to other devloped or devloping nations. If we have long horizon , little study about it , patience to sustain the ups and down systematic investments then it can proved one of the best option to multiply your capital. Of course one shouldnt fully expose himself to this much only. Even sometimes gold investment can be proved a better option especially etf or unit options in sip. Real estate investment now a days required a large capital and many a time it requires a loan which is in proportion to our salary . Some banking companies cross the limits while giving it and then default condition found in some cases. We must took precautions about property papers and loan structure . All in all we must consider number of dependents , monthly regular income sources , basic routien expenditure and casual expenditure such as picknic , hotelling , illness etc. and then we should go for maximum savings amoung the best suitable option. If we can go for each option in some percentage then it will be better for us and we can secure a good corpus in future . Have a great future ahead.
